Dual Plate Check Valves

- are about 20% lighter than Swing Check Valves due to their compact design.

- have springs designed to close valves more efficiently reducing the water

  hammer when backflow occurs.

- have lower pressure drop because of less friction resistance.

- are less expensive and easier to install and maintain because they are light

  and compact.

 

Both, horizontal and vertical installations are available.
